Hey Dennis, First off, thanks for all your help in passing the test!!! The question I have is, what is the procedure that I follow to get my new number? I broke rule number 1 already, I called the State! NASA must have had a layoff, because the 2 Rocket scientists I spoke with gave me 2 differant answers. 1 said fill out form 2060, to have my trainee status go to inactive, and the other said to fill out form 2065. The other guys in our shop said they did not have to send in any forms. Help! Thanks Again Mike

The other guys in the shop are basically right, just sign in to your license portal for updates, mine was done before i got around to faxing the form that we are suggested to send. My new number was available within a week, and the paper copy about 2 weeks later. https://www.myfloridalicense.com/Logon.asp?Page=licensesummary.asp&SID=

Pretty much along the same lines as the sceond posting. However, I DID have to send in a Form requesting my Trainee status be changed to Inactive...BUT, DON'T do that until you have a number for your State Cert or you'll end up like I did (thanks to those misplaced rocket scientists) INACTIVE ON BOTH LICENSES...Good Luck, your fate and future are truly now in your own hands...make us proud...Remember to have your Supervisory Appraser remove you from his/her list as well...
